Blizzard has announced that the name reservation for WoW classic opens on August 12 at 22:00 GMT. To order your name, you must have an active subscription or game time in your World of Warcraft account. If you get this closed, then you are on your way to making up to three characters per WoW account so you can have them ready when the game is opened. Blizzard has not stated exactly how you will back up your name and whether it will be in the game or on the website, but it's likely the first.

Backing up your name in advance is highly recommended, because a big wave of players is expected when WoW Classic is launched. It's not just a matter of protecting yourself from long queues and server crashes, it's also about ordering your favorite WoW Classic alias before other players get it - but don't expect too much to win the name Leeroy Jenkins. Blizzard also stated that character building would be limited to one faction per realm in the PvP realm. If you are in need of Cheap WOW Gold Classic, come to, where you can enjoy the cheapest price online and 3% off with a coupon code “5MMO”.

"We will release details about the name and type of kingdom at the end of this week so you can coordinate with your friends where to start your adventure," writes Blizzard. "If there are many players who gather in the individual realm during the name / character creation process, we will post a warning about the potential for long queues in that realm, giving you time to choose an alternative realm."
